The projects I completed during this art class. This class was extensive and covered perspective, depth, figure drawing, textures, and character design...
Perspective - I had to keep shapes and the shadows realistic for the position of the light source.
Landscape Sketch - Depth was supposed to be portrayed through the use of line thickness and cross-hatching.
Landscape Lighting - I had to use value to make the same scene appear as if it was showing a different time of day.
Hand and Feet Poses
Figure Drawing
Fur Texture - I had to show two different types of fur. One ball is short and slightly spiky, while the other is longer and softer.
Maned Wolf Studies
Animal Poses - I had to choose two animals and draw them in different poses, while keeping the body shapes consistent.
Animal Designs - I had to take the two animals and blend them together to create a new, realistic one. Taking in mind the environments, diets, and traits of both animals so that the new specie could survive if it existed. I chose Maned Wolf and Skunk.
Gesture Drawings - Every pose was randomly generated on an art website, and I was given a minute to sketch each one.
Character Designs - I had to design an original character. In order to create her, I researched Island Foxes, gypsy clothing, weapons, and satchels.
Character Planning Sheet1 - A lot of thought had to go into the character, so that the design could reflect her accurately.
